These are undoubtedly the easiest plants you will ever grow. They need no soil and no planting. Simply drop them in 3" or more of water, where they can get at least 3 hours of sun. Their roots suspend in the water pulling algae feeding nutrients out. Water lettuce has a crisp ornamental cabbage appearance.

Zones 7-11.
